We’re looking for a dynamic Chemical Engineer / Application Engineer to support our Sales and Marketing teams and help drive the future of activated carbon applications.
Your Role:
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to offer expert guidance and help choose the best activated carbon solutions, tailored to meet customer needs and processes.

Manage projects from initial design through to plant setup and operational startup.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of activated carbon, adsorption systems, and related services and equipment.
- Provide hands-on training to personnel, ensuring they’re well-versed in activated carbon applications.

Work closely with the Application Engineering team to coordinate complete projects.
- Offer troubleshooting expertise for activated carbon systems as needed.
- Build strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and colleagues through your technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and advice on activated carbon, mobile filter systems, and reactivation services to the European Sales and Marketing teams.
- Oversee and coordinate laboratory testing, and manage the design, installation, and operation of pilot systems.

Analyze test results, creating detailed reports and technical documentation to meet customer expectations.

Follow up on technical projects directly with customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain and update your knowledge base to uphold the company’s professional image and support customer needs.

Stay at the forefront of activated carbon innovations and explore new ways to improve products and services.
- Keep an eye on competitive products and technologies, offering insights and assistance to our sales force.
- Train our European Sales and Marketing teams, helping them enhance their technical knowledge of our products and services.
- Strengthen customer relationships by deepening your understanding of their processes and needs.
- Represent our company at conferences by delivering insightful technical presentations.
Profil
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in air, gas, water, or liquid purification (experience with activated carbon is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other necessary software.
