Jet Engine Inspectors wanted for a company in Zaventem. The company is a worldwide leader in design, development and production of aircraft engines.
To strengthen their technical teams, we are looking for an INSPECTOR.
Your role:
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections on dismantled parts, in accordance with current procedures.
- Evaluates parts (good as is, repair or scrap), modules or engines via the ERP system and initiates the necessary actions.
- Use appropriate methods, materials and tools.
- Ensure traceability of work by completing administrative tasks.
- Checks AD/SB status of parts and modules.
- Determines future configuration of parts or modules.
- Perform incoming inspection on parts after repair and on purchased parts.
- Perform final inspection after in-house repair.
Profiel
- You have a higher secondary school diploma (CESS type) + a technical year (A2 electromechanical type) with a solid background in mechanics and proven experience as an aeronautical technician, or you have a bachelor's degree in aeronautics or equivalent in our field;
- You're passionate about aircraft engines, flexible and eager to learn, and you already have some proven experience as an inspector
- You are flexible and eager to learn
- You have a very good command of English and also speak a minimum of French or Dutch, with a desire to improve your level
- You are willing to work in 2 shifts;
- You enjoy working as part of a team, in a multilingual environment, and you're willing to listen to your colleagues.
