For the Technology Centre of Excellence of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions in Heverlee, Belgium we are looking for a Lab Technician for our corrosion coupon monitoring solution activity.
This person will be responsible for:
* Daily processing of corrosion coupon samples per Standard Operational Procedures guidelines
* Login, process, and record test results in LIMS database
* Meet established due dates for all work assigned
* Maintain the instruments in calibrated and working conditions and effectively communicate on significant issues to the team leader
* Perform other essential functions which may be assigned by the team leader
* Contribute to the site safety efforts through adherence of policies and procedures
Profiel
Position Requirements
* Minimum a technical secondary education degree with 1-2 years of relevant
experience in a lab environment
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Fluent in English
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Attention to detail encompassing data entry
* Quick learner, coachable and adaptable retaining and applying new information quickly
