Senior R&D Project Manager Filtration & Nonwoven
Our client is one of the leading companies in the field of producing vacuum cleaner bags, filtration materials and nonwovens for various applications.

They combine long tradition with the modern structures of a medium sized family-owned company.



Job Summary:

The Senior R&D Project Manager is responsible for reporting to the R&D Director, and will be integrated in the R&D team, with a close connection to the sales and production team. Beside project based R&D topics you will be responsible for managing the patent portfolio in collaboration with the entire R&D team. Close collaborations with an expert teams of patent lawyers will support you.



General Responsibilities:

• Research and development of filtration products (Liquid, Air, Medical)

• Conduct in-depth analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished products to meet customer specifications

• Establish robust technical specifications, protocols and operating standards to enable smooth transfer to high volume manufacturing

• Patent portfolio management and filling new patents with R&D team, patent monitoring of competitors

Profiel

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nonwoven or related field

• 5+ years experience in filtration materials, nonwoven production and finishing

• Knowledge of technical textiles, Nonwovens, polymers, additives and latest industry trends

• Knowledge in patent system (EU, US and Asia)

• Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills

• Fluent in English and Dutch; German will be a bonus

• Passionate team player and innovator with hands-on approach

• Analytical and result driven problem solver

• Familiar with Project Management, Patents and Design of Experiment;
